Casa Shalom's new building,
our mission is the following:
- to educate and reach out to the community of Bucharest
- to nurture, defend and assist families, single mothers and children,
- to help disadvantaged, destitute and abandoned children
- to teach responsibility, self-sufficiency, civic duties, life and occupational skills
- to teach sound moral and ethical principles
- to know God as a father and a friend
The vision of Casa Shalom is to help to bring hope and a future to the orphans, abandoned and poor children in Romania. We also help children whose parents are sick and not able to care for them. The children become a part of the Casa Shalom family that loves them and wants to see them develop in all areas of their life. We concentrate especially on languages, music and art. We have found that the Romanian children are very gifted in music and art and that music is also a great therapy for them.
We are raising them to be well rounded and well balanced with high moral standards of integrity. Our goal is that each of our precious children will love God with all their heart and find their place in life where they can be a blessing to others.
